At first I wandered all alonenever belonging , never fitting in
singing a tune in my own tone
being different , is it such a sin ?
my heart empty , with emotion intense
many people around , no one to share
reaching out to unknown , with feelings immense
will i find someone , who will really care ?
a glance at your eyes
sparking , instantly spreading inside
melting me like fire on ice
does this mean a change in tide ?
as i lean in , my arms around you tight
let the cooling mist rise
out on a full moon night
after years of wasteful glamour
coming to be with you
my very own knight in shining armour
